Dorothy Gemmell is the President of DKG Solutions. She has a 25+ year career in healthcare focused on building teams to sell solutions and building market leading healthcare brands to consumers and healthcare professionals to ultimately improve patient care and outcomes. After 10 years in the pharmaceutical industry in sales and marketing positions and seeing the power of technology to deliver healthcare information to consumers and healthcare professionals she joined WebMD/Medscape where she built the sales teams and helped to build the trusted healthcare brand. As President of Havas Life NY an ad agency, she helped leading healthcare brands launch their brands into the market. Seeing the power of cloud based EMR platforms and their data she then joined Practice Fusion where she helped commercialize their Life Sciences business and prior to Capsule, helped AbleTo, as Chief Commercial Officer, become a leading tele behavioral health provider by building their sales and account management teams, driving significant revenue growth and bringing on national payer and employer clients. Prior to DKG, Dorothy also served as the Head of Commercial for Capsule, a startup focused on rebuilding the $425 billion pharmacy industry from the inside out with an emotionally resonant brand and technology that enables customized outcomes for doctors, hospitals, insurers, and manufacturers.
